"Happy Birthday to You! Cha, Cha, Cha!"

"Happy Birthday to You! Cha, Cha, Cha..... Happy Birthday to You! Cha, Cha, Cha!"
This is what we heard last night as Hope was eating dinner.
We have had a lot of birthday celebrations lately and Hope has learned the Happy Birthday song... complete with the "Cha, Cha, Cha!" She sings is at random times and it is so precious!

Carving My First Pumpkin

Last night we decided to let Hope dig into her first pumpkin. Wayne took off the top and showed her how to get the insides out and she didn't want any part of it. She called the inside of the pumpkin "meat" as daddy showed it to her and told him it was "funny".
When we finished carving the pumpkin, Daddy took Hope on a tractor ride around the yard.

Ella's Birthday Party

Yesterday we went to Ella's 2nd Birthday party and had so much fun!!

Here are a few photos of Hope and I before we left for the party! I just love this outfit on Hope! She looks so grown up!!

Here are two photos of Hope (left), Ella (middle) and Jaley (right). The first one was taken when Hope was born and the second was taken yesterday at Ella's Party. (Ella is 4 months older than Hope and Jaley is 2 1/2 months older).

All the kids had a great time. Hope, Ella, Jaley, Mason, Parker, Carly and Brooklyn will all be in the same class!
The party started off with the Air Bounce with the slide. Then we went on a hayride! We loved the hayride and will probably do one for Hope's birthday!!

My New Hat

Look at Hope's New Hat! She wasn't too crazy about it when I bought it at the zoo, but the next day, she wanted to wear it everywhere!!

Zoo!

Saturday we went to the zoo with Keri, Tristan and Becca. What a wonderful day we had! The weather was gorgeous and all the kids were very well behaved all day! We left the house at 7:30am and got home after 8pm and Hope didn't have a nap the entire day and was great! The only time she cried was when I forced her into the stroller when she didn't want to be in it. We took her out immediately and she was fine. She doesn't like to ride in the stoller much...she likes to walk and see everything! I don't really blame her either... as I would be the same way!!
Anyway, here are some of the photos from the day. I think everyone's favorite was the butterfly exhibit. We went into this room full of butterflies and they landed on us! Hope laughed so hard when the buttefly was in Keri's hair! Everyone also loved the train ride around the park at the end of the day. On our way home, we stopped to eat dinner and all laughed as we were able to get the big 18-wheelers to honk as we drove passed them! This was definitely a day to remember for years to come! Thanks Michael family for a great day!!

Witch with a "b"

Yesterday, Hope was wearing a Halloween shirt with a Witch on the front of it. When I told her it was a witch, she tried to repeat it back to me, but her w's sound more like b's!???!!!!

FestiBal!

Last Saturday we went to my mom's house and went to the yearly festival (FestiBal as Hope calls it). Don was out of town so we spent the night too and had a great time! Here are some photos of Hope with the Pincesses at the festival:

Then on Sunday, we met up with my sister, G.G., and her family and went to their church picnic. Here are some photos of Hope with her cousins Alyssa and Isabella riding the train. As you can tell from their precious faces, they had a great time!!

Tinkerbell

Last night I decided to try on Hope's Tinkerbell Halloween costume and she looks so precious! The shoes don't fit, her feet are too big, but everything else fit perfect!
Take a look!

This photo is of Hope and Wilbur, her piggy stuffed animal Uncle Mikey and Aunt Silvia brought her when they met her for the first time! She loves Wilbur!!

This morning Hope was playing with her baby doll and was feeding it a fake bottle of milk. Then she said "more" and had the baby doll's hands doing the "more" sign language sign! So Sweet!! She will be a great Mommy one day!!
