Biker Baby

Last Thursday, I took a much needed day off of work and Hope and I went to visit Grammy and PaPa and had a wonderful day!! You might be wondering what the story is on the photos.....A while back Grammy and PaPa bought Hope a t-shirt that reads "When I grow up I want to be a Biker just like my Grandpa". Well, today was the day to take her photo with PaPa on his motorcycle, so we got her all duded up in her biker attire... t-shirt, "Biker Chick" bib I found at the local Walmart, and PaPa's do-rag (spelling?). It was fun and I am glad we finally got our photo as the shirt is already getting a bit tight.. she is growing SO fast!!

Lunchtime Giggles

Ms. Keri just sent me an email entitled "Lunchtime Giggles" and attached the following photos. I just love getting photos of Hope during the day!! Such a sweet face from such a sweet little girl! You just can't help but love her!!

Skeet Shoot at 8 Weeks Old

I know I am back dating a bit, but these are some of my favorite photos of Hope. These were taken at a Skeet Shoot when she was 8 weeks old. You can see Wayne in the background shooting on one of the photos. We didn't put the headphones on her until the men started shooting as their guns were louder than most of the women and children. She didn't seem to mind the noise even without the headphones, but we were so close and a bit nervous about her little ears. We just love that she likes to be outdoors!

Happy Monday

A short while after arriving at work, Ms. Keri sent me this great photo of Hope wishing me a "Happy Monday!" This face says it all!! What a great way to start off my week!!

Getting Started

Well, I have finally decided to start blogging. I am a little apprehensive about doing this (having all of our information online and all), but I think it will be a great way for family and friends to see what we have been up to and to see how Hope is growing. I have several friends that have blogs and I really enjoy reading them and seeing photos of their families. So, here goes! I hope you enjoy the ride, I know we sure do!

Life is good. Hope is growing so fast. She is already 5 months old and is starting to sit on her own. She has been eating baby food for a month now and we discovered last week that we should only give her Prunes when she REALLY NEEDS them!! (I told my mom I would give her prunes when I know she is going to watch her!!!) She laughs at the dogs quite a bit, but Wayne still hasn't heard her except on video. She is pretty amazing and we are so enjoying being parents. She is a very good and happy baby. She is a bit shy, though, with people she hasn't been around much. She likes to "get acquainted" with them first before going to anyone she isn't used to being with.
